Galamsey awards

On Saturday May 26, 2018, David Kumordzie AKA Ghana Togbe was awarded for composing the best song for the Galamsey campaign in the GEEA (Ghana Environmental Excellence Awards 2018, the song came out as the best Song of the year for the Galamsey campaign. David Kumordzie AKA Togbe Ghana is the founder and the CEO of the Go to School Foundation and fitness trainer. He is also a reggae and dance-hall Afro-beat musician and this award goes as the recognition for this musician's extraordinary and outstanding achievement and merits in service to Ghana and humanity at large which promotes Ghanaians socially and economically.

This awards event was held at the British Council of the Republic of Ghana in Accra on May 26. The government of Ghana played a great role in making this event a success as the Ministry Of Environment partnered with EPA, Forestry Co mission, Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, Ministry Of Energy And Petroleum and Ministry Of Sanitation and Water Resources partnered to award those that did well.
